Sometimes life leaves you dumbstruck

Violating your very core..

Pushing you hard and far

Unyielding, Cruel and Selfish

As you recover gasping for breath 

You realize that its all you have now 

And then you try to love it.. living every minute 

Like it belonged to you..

Just to realize that even this will not last 

Through the back door
Uninvited, pain walks in..

Helpless, Shattered, Undone

There she stands in distress

Reaching out into the dark she walks ahead
Fighting an empty heart and drained spirit 
All you can do is Follow...

Fellow beings rest your worries and your fears

For there is little you can do but accept

The changes that tear you away

From everything that has made you what you are...
From everything that you hold dear...
From everything that has any meaning in life...
